Draft, pending legal review. This page is a working draft written to cover the data WireTab collects today through its waitlist, plus what it expects to collect once the WireTab application launches. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and should be reviewed before it is relied on as a binding policy.

1. Overview

This policy explains what information WireTab collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. It covers the WireTab waitlist site you are on now, and it will be expanded as the WireTab application launches for venues and their customers.

2. Information We Collect

Waitlist signups. When you join the waitlist, we collect your name and email address, and, if you choose to provide them, your phone number and any venue you recommend for WireTab.

Account information (once WireTab launches). If you create a venue account, we collect your business name, contact email, and authentication information through our sign in provider, Clerk.

Usage data. We automatically collect basic technical information when you visit this site, such as browser type and device information.

3. How We Use Your Information

To let you know when WireTab becomes available in your area
To operate, maintain, and improve the waitlist and, later, the WireTab application
To respond when you contact us
To meet legal, security, and fraud prevention obligations

4. How We Share Information

We share information with the vendors that help us run WireTab, including our hosting provider, Vercel, our database provider, Neon, and our authentication provider, Clerk. These vendors only receive what they need to perform their service for us, and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of WireTab, our users, or others.

5. Payment Information

WireTab does not yet process payments. Once it does, card and payment details will be handled directly by our payment processor and will not be stored on WireTab's own servers. This section will be expanded with full detail before payments go live.

6. Cookies

This waitlist site does not currently use tracking or advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

7. Data Retention

We keep waitlist information until WireTab launches in your area or until you ask us to delete it, whichever happens first.

8. Your Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time using the contact information below.

9. Children's Privacy

WireTab is intended for people of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone underage.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as WireTab develops. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify people on the waitlist by email.
